Let me take a moment to explain the reason for this site. On the left of the page you see two pictures. These are my two sons with Cystic Fibrosis. Jacob, on top, is nine years old, below him is Derek, who is seven.
Both boys were diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) at birth. There have been many trials and tribulations through the years. Adding to the challenges that CF provided, Jacob started having seizures when he was 4. One of the things that we were not aware of before the boys were born, was the cost involved in caring for someone's medical needs.
Over the years our costs have steadily increased. Much to our amazement, we have always found a way to make ends meet. God has provided for us in many ways, through the years. This year we have again encountered increased medical costs. We have prayed for God's guidance and have faith that he will help us through.
The logo that you see above was a gift from God. One day while praying for guidance, this image appeared in my head as clearly as if it was printed on a piece of paper. I am not artisticly inclined, it is not one of the gifts that God has given me, but with the help of an artist, the vision became a reality.
You will see that there are items for sale on this site. Let me explain what happens if you purchase any of them. First, I have to pay for the production of these items. I do not make them myself. I let the professionals do the work so that you are assured of a quality product. Second, I have committed to tithe to the church from the proceeds from this site. Third, a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to benefit others with Cystic Fibrosis. The rest of the proceeds will be used to pay for the medical care of Jacob and Derek.
